RunSnack turns any machine into a one-link terminal you can share ā no accounts, sandboxed, free.

Your GPU. One link. The world.
RunSnack turns any machine with Docker into a one-link terminal you can hand to a specific person, right now ā no accounts, no cloud dashboard, no listings. Point someone at a link, they get a real terminal inside this sandboxed container, on your hardware, peer to peer.
This image is RunSnack ā the host side. It exposes itself over the internet, negotiates a secure session with whoever opens the link, and bridges that session to a real shell. How it does that is intentionally not documented here; the container is meant to be run through the official installer, not driven by hand.

docker run this directlyThis image needs a specific set of hardening flags (read-only root, dropped capabilities, a uid/gid-pinned tmpfs, GPU passthrough) to run safely and correctly. Use the installer instead ā it handles all of that for you:
# Linux / macOS
curl -fsSL https://runsnack.com/download/snackup.sh -o snackup.sh
chmod +x snackup.sh && ./snackup.sh
# Windows (PowerShell)
irm https://runsnack.com/download/snackup.ps1 -outfile snackup.ps1
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File snackup.ps1
The installer scripts themselves are open source and readable line-by-line: github.com/PacifAIst/runsnackā .
uid 1000), no-new-privileges. The person you share with gets a shell inside the container, never your host.| Tag | Notes |
|---|---|
latest | linux/amd64. Rebuilt and re-tagged in place as the project evolves ā pin a digest if you need reproducibility. |
jetson-jp6 | linux/arm64, NVIDIA Jetson only (JetPack 6.1 / L4T r36.4 specifically ā not other JetPack 6.x point releases, and not older Jetson Nano/JetPack 4.x boards). Uses --runtime nvidia, not --gpus. Deliberately a separate tag, not merged into latest: Docker's own multi-arch resolution can't tell a Jetson apart from any other arm64 machine, so pulling this requires knowing you're on a Jetson ā the installer scripts detect this automatically and pick it for you, you shouldn't need to reference this tag by hand. |
dgx-spark | linux/arm64, NVIDIA DGX Spark (Grace Blackwell / GB10) only, CUDA 13.0+. Uses plain --gpus all, the same mechanism as latest ā simpler than the Jetson tag, just a different base image and CPU architecture. Same reasoning as jetson-jp6 for why it's a separate tag rather than merged into latest. |
Only latest is covered by the official installer's automatic architecture detection on x86 hosts; Jetson and DGX Spark hosts get jetson-jp6/dgx-spark the same way. See the scripts in the GitHub repo above for the exact detection logic.
Docker is a sandbox, not a hypervisor. Don't share a session with anyone you wouldn't hand a real (if contained) shell to, and don't run this on a machine with data you're not willing to isolate behind that boundary. Full notes: runsnack.comā (FAQ and Legal & Privacy).
RunSnack does not operate, monitor, or store any part of a session. No accounts, no tracking, no logs beyond what stays local to the host's own machine.
