Docker image containing OpenRAVE⁠, a framework which provides an environment for testing, developing, and deploying motion planning algorithms in real-world robotics applications.

The image is built from the following Dockerfile.

RUN git clone https://github.com/rdiankov/openrave.git

RUN mkdir -p openrave/build
WORKDIR openrave/build
RUN cmake .. && make -j
RUN make install

WORKDIR /root

The OpenRAVE commit used in this image is b2818fb534cd8c4e64ea1dddea0f7c360ce5056d. In order to build OpenRAVE locally from source, first uncomment the line "# RUN pip uninstall mpmath", then remove all occurrences of RUN or replace them with "sudo" where necessary, and finally replace "WORKDIR" command with "cd".
