You will first need to create a folder on your host/vm. The container directory for downloaded and storing the youtube file is /vid.

Docker Command

YOUTUBE URL EXAMPLE = www.youtube.com/watch?v=eisKxhjBnZ0⁠ FORMAT_NUMERICAL_VALUE= 18(standard quality) or you can use 22(high quality). All files are downloaded in .mp4 format.

docker run -v /path/to/your/host/dir:/vid:rw -e YOUTUBE_URL=youtube-url -e FORMAT_NUMERICAL_VALUE= 18 hareemca123/youtubedl
