This image makes it super easy for you to run not only PgWeb but also a Postgres db with a pre-loaded table of real-world data.

To run, do the following after you pull the image.

docker run -d --name 'pgwebtutor' -p 5432:5432 -p 8081:8081 -e POSTGRES_USER=root -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=root -e POSTGRES_DB=data harshsinghal/pgimage-tutor:latest

Once the container is running go to localhost:8081

On the screen provide the following values to the fields.

Host: localhost

Username: root

Password: root

Database: data

SSL Mode: disable
