hedata/thrive_base repository overview

An environment for data analysis and machine learning. Based on jupyter/minimal-notebook.

includes:

• additional R and Python Packages.
• Spark 1.6.1
• Tensorflow

Best used if you have a local Folder where your notebooks are stored.:

docker rm $(docker ps -a -q)

docker run -d -p 8888:8888 -v $(pwd):/home/jovyan/work -v [LOCALNOTEBOOKFOLDER] hedata/thrive_base:v004 start-notebook.sh
echo "ALL done visit localhost:8888 for the env"

Replace [LOCALNOTEBOOKFOLDER] with the absolute path to your your notebooks.

Open your browser and visit: localhost:8888 to interact with the environment.
