See inside Cassandra. Kassandra is an open-source web GUI for Apache Cassandra. It helps you to explore keyspaces and tables, inspect and modify data, run CQL, and manage cluster connections without living in cqlsh.
Runs as a single process: an Express server serves both the JSON API and the React single-page app on one port.
docker run --rm \
-p 8501:8501 \
-v ~/.kassandra:/root/.kassandra \
hedayati/kassandra
Open http://localhost:8501.
Configuration
| Variable | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
KASSANDRA_HOME | ~/.kassandra | Directory for persisted connection profiles and column metadata (config.json) |
HOST | 0.0.0.0 (in this image) | Listening address |
PORT | 8501 | Listening port |
Mount a volume at KASSANDRA_HOME to persist connection profiles and settings across container restarts.
Cassandra hosts in your connection profile must be reachable from inside the container. For a Cassandra instance running on the Docker host, use host.docker.internal; for a sibling container on the same Docker network, use its container name. SSL certificate paths must also be accessible inside the container.
