rstudio-server image

This docker image launches a containerized RStudio server based on RStudio tidyverse image with additional packages. In order to launch a container from this image, use docker run -e PASSWORD=<password> -e USER=rstudio -p 8787:8787 heliumdatastage/rstudio-server:1. The default username is rstudio. Alternatively to add additional users, use the command docker run -d -e PASSWORD=<password> -e USER=rstudio -p 8787:8787 <container-name> (for example, docker run -d -e PASSWORD=<password> -e USER=rstudio -p 8787:8787 heliumdatastage/rstudio-server:<tagname>) followed by docker ps -a to get the container- ID. Once you have the container ID, you will be able to access the container shell by running docker exec -t -i <container-id> /bin/bash which will launch the container shell. Once inside the container shell, use the command adduser <username> and provide a unique password. Once the user is created, these credentials can be used to log into the RStudio server.
