These images are built by a community member, hershel-theodore-layton⁠ based on branches prepared by mszabo-wikia⁠. We are in no way affiliated with Meta or the HHVM OSS Team.

hhvm/hhvm⁠ is no longer maintained by Meta. The most recent build is from early 2023. My builds are from {{current year}} and include the latest changes from the master branch.

This image is meant as a bare base to deploy your apps with.

A full version of hhvm, that has developer tooling preinstalled, can be found here⁠.

Tags are based on the year.month.day naming scheme. 25.03.28 is based on the branch hhvm-oss-20260328⁠. Build fixes are applied after this date, but no new code is pulled in from master after this date. The beta tag is the freshest build, ready for my own internal testing. Use with extreme caution, since it may be abandoned in an unusable state.

If you want to extract the deb file from this image to install hhvm on your own, see hhvm-full⁠. The .deb file is located in /var/tmp/hhvm-installer/hhvm.deb.
