This is pretty simple: plex makes it very difficult to download the latest version for a given platform without some digging. E.g. There is no wget https://plex.tv/downloads/deb/latest.deb. This image is a very lazy workaround for that. I create a centos container; add the plex repo; download the latest plexmediaserver.rpm; then using buildah mount i mount a scratch image and rpm2cpio *.rpm | rpm -idm into the scratch container. This almost works out of the box, but you need to add a /tmp/ directory as well.
