⁠Hexabot Widget Docker Image

Hexabot⁠ Community Edition is an open-source chatbot solution that allows users to create and manage AI-powered, multi-channel, and multilingual chatbots with ease. Hexabot is designed for flexibility and customization, offering powerful text-to-action capabilities. Originally a closed-source project (version 1), we've now open-sourced version 2 to contribute to the community and enable developers to customize and extend the platform with extensions.

This Docker image contains the live chat widget of Hexabot, built with React.js, and is published under hexastack/hexabot-widget.

⁠How to Use the Docker Image

⁠Pull the Docker Image

To pull the Docker image, use the following command:

docker pull hexastack/hexabot-widget:latest

⁠Run the Docker Container

You can run the Hexabot widget container in standalone mode with this command:

docker run -d \
  --name hexabot-widget \
  -p 5173:5173 \
  --env-file .env \
  hexastack/hexabot-widget:latest

This command will start the frontend service and expose it on port 5173.

⁠Running with Docker Compose

You can also use Docker Compose to manage the widget along with other services such as the API. Here's an example docker-compose.yml snippet for the frontend service:

  hexabot-widget:
    container_name: widget
    image: hexastack/hexabot-widget:latest
    ports:
      - ${APP_WIDGET_PORT}:5173
    networks:
      - app-network
    depends_on:
