The Sawtooth Seth transaction processor, sawtooth-seth-tp, is the component that implements “Ethereum-like” functionality for the Hyperledger Sawtooth platform.

Sawtooth Seth is a Sawtooth-Ethereum integration that supports running Ethereum Virtual Machine smart contracts on the Hyperledger Sawtooth platform. In order to make this possible, the Hyperledger Sawtooth project worked with the Hyperledger Burrow project to integrate their EVM implementation, the Burrow EVM, into with the Hyperledger Sawtooth platform. Sawtooth Seth provides an Ethereum-compatible transaction family for the Hyperledger Sawtooth platform.
