The IBM Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) Toolkit for Fedora Linux (Multi-arch)
2.4K
About:
The IBM Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) Toolkit for Fedora Linux is a packaged Docker container that makes it easier to get started and experiment with the Fully Homomorphic Encryption technology. The container comes with working examples of FHE technology and an integrated development environment ready for experimentation. The Toolkit is based on HElib. Invented at IBM, HElib is the world's most mature and versatile encryption library. Each toolkit includes sample programs and IDE integration making it easier to write FHE based code.

How it works:
Currently, data is encrypted while at rest and in transit, but must be decrypted during computation. What’s revolutionary about FHE is its ability to compute directly on encrypted data. The plaintext is first converted into ciphertext which is unreadable by humans until the proper cipher algorithm is used to decrypt it. Computations are performed on the ciphertext without human observers understanding the data, the computation, or even the result, which can only be decrypted by the data owner.
Since data and results can only be decrypted by the data owner, highly regulated industries can now have the benefits of outsourcing storage and computation to clouds without compromising privacy or security.
Support:
Corporate clients can email [email protected] to request a design thinking workshop about building FHE solutions for your business use cases at no cost for applicants accepted to our sponsor user program. For corporate support outside of our sponsor user program, IBM Security Homomorphic Encryption Services can help unlock the value of your sensitive data without decrypting it to help maintain your privacy and compliance controls. Our trusted advisors offer commercial education, expert support, and testing environments to build your prototype applications.
