⁠📣 Important Notice: Migration to IBM Cloud Container Registry (icr.io)

This project has officially transitioned from Docker Hub to the IBM Cloud Container Registry (icr.io) for hosting and distributing container images.

🔹 All future releases will be published exclusively to the icr.io registry.

🔹 All existing versions previously hosted on Docker Hub have also been migrated and are available on icr.io.

To access the latest images, use the following format:

docker pull icr.io/voice-gateway/agent-tester:<tag>

Please update any Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment scripts accordingly.

⁠Overview

The Voice Agent Tester provides an easy way to run automated voice tests to IBM Voice Gateway, IBM Voice Agent with Watson, or any Interactive Voice Response system. It is a stateless, REST-based microservice designed to use the new outbound calls REST API feature added in the 1.0.2 release of the Voice Gateway to drive calls to an endpoint, an IBM Cloudant or Apache CouchDB database for persistence, and a Service Orchestration Engine to validate that the conversation takes place as you would expect. Through this new microservice, Voice Gateway and Voice Agent developers now have a tool they can use to verify that their deployments are working properly by running tests that validate that the conversation is flowing as expected and load tests to make sure that the amount of concurrent callers are handled appropriately and thus enabling them to identify problem areas that need attention.
