⁠Docker PHP Deployer

A lightweight, Alpine-based Docker image tailored for running, testing, and deploying PHP applications in CI/CD pipelines.

⁠Features

• Base OS: Alpine Linux (php:alpine)
• Package Management: Pre-installed composer and PIE (pie.phar) for PHP extension management
• Database Drivers: MySQL (pdo_mysql), PostgreSQL (pdo_pgsql, libpq), and Microsoft SQL Server (sqlsrv, pdo_sqlsrv, msodbcsql18)
• Image Processing: GD (with FreeType, JPEG, and WebP support) and ImageMagick (imagick)
• Deployment Utilities: bash, openssh-client, and rsync for SSH/sync deployment workflows

⁠Building Locally

To build the image locally:

docker build -t docker-php-deployer:latest .

⁠Quick Start & Verification

⁠Run Shell

docker run --rm -it -v $(pwd):/var/www docker-php-deployer:latest bash

⁠Verify Installed Extensions

docker run --rm docker-php-deployer:latest php -m

⁠Verify SQL Server Driver Setup

docker run --rm docker-php-deployer:latest odbcinst -q -d
