⁠Go Application with GolangCI-Lint

This project is a Go web application with GolangCI-Lint integration for enforcing coding standards.

⁠Prerequisites

• Go: https://go.dev/doc/install⁠
• GolangCI-Lint: https://github.com/golangci/golangci-lint⁠

⁠Getting Started

Follow these steps to run the Go application locally:

1. Clone this repository to your local machine:

   git clone https://github.com/itsbharatsaini/go-app.git
   

   Copy

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd go-app
   

   Copy

3. Build the Go application:

   go build -o <output-file-name>
   

   Copy

4. Run the Go application:

   ./<output-file-name>
   

   Copy

⁠Running GolangCI-Lint

golangci-lint run

This command will execute all the configured linters and display any linting errors or warnings.

⁠Docker image

⁠Build the image

docker build -t <image-name> .

Replace <image-name> with the desired name for your Docker image.

⁠Run docker container:

docker run -p 8080:8080 <image-name>

Once the Docker container is running, you can access the application at http://localhost:8080⁠ in your web browser.
