The items within this repository can be used to replicate the same analysis as that found in Sturdee, M., Ivory, M., Ellis, D., Stacey, P., & Ralph, P. (accepted). Personality Traits of Game Developers. In Proceedings of the Evaluation and Assessment in Software Engineering 2022, 13-15 June 2022.

dataAnon.csv is the data used in the rawest format whilst providing anonymity to participants. With the PersonalityCFA.Rmd, the entire data manipulation and analysis can be replicated within RStudio. The Images folder contains the two figures presented in the conference paper, along with images accessed in the Rmd.

The PersonalityCFA.html file is the html format markdown document knitted from the PersonalityCFA.Rmd document. This allows for a view-only inspection of the analysis without requiring set up of RStudio.

For the output of confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis, see the fits folder. CFA_all_items is the original, unedited CFA. Then the process of removing items was carried out through EFA_Full then EFA_removed1 to 5, then CFA_final is the resultant model used in further analysis.
