Pull the latest image:
docker pull jaykatta23/my-devbox:latest
Or pull a specific version:
docker pull jaykatta23/my-devbox:v1
Run the container:
docker run -it \
--name my-devbox \
-v $(pwd):/workspace \
jaykatta23/my-devbox:latest
If you use private package repositories, mount your configuration files when starting the container:
docker run -it \
--name my-devbox \
-v $(pwd):/workspace \
-v /path/to/pip.conf:/etc/pip.conf:ro \
-v /path/to/.npmrc:/root/.npmrc:ro \
-v /path/to/settings.xml:/root/.m2/settings.xml:ro \
jaykatta23/my-devbox:latest
Once inside the container, your project will be available under:
/workspace
Verify the installed tools:
git --version
java -version
mvn -version
go version
python3 --version
pip3 --version
node -v
npm -v
