⁠Summary

Using this image I am automating the download of my monthly books from bookchoice.com and publishing them into my calibre-web library.

⁠Configuration

To run the image, you have to provide the details of the user used to log in to bookchoice and calibre. This is done using environment variables. The applicable environment variables are:

• BC_EMAIL: The email address used for your bookchoice.com account (e.g. [email protected]⁠)
• BC_PW: The password used for your bookchoice.com account
• CW_URL: The URL of your calibre-web instance (e.g. https://calibre.example.com⁠)
• CW_USER: The username of your calibre web account
• CW_PW: The password of your calibre web account

⁠Docker run example

docker run -e [email protected] -e BC_PW=1234 -e CW_URL=https://calibre.example.com -e CW_USER=username -e CW_PW=password --rm -it bookchoiceimport
