⁠Updatable Jupyter Notebook

Based upon jupyter/datascience-notebook with the following additions:

  • rJava package for R
  • venneuler package for R
  • script /usr/local/sbin/update-script designed to be called externally (via docker exec) from host's cron daemon,which will apply security updates to underlying debian distribution and also update all installed conda packages to latest available version.
  • JupyterDrive extension.

(Note if using JupyterDrive from domain other than localhost you will need to acquire a CLIENT_ID for Google Drive API from the Google Developers Console and then enter this CLIENT_ID into /home/jovyan/.jupyter/nbconfig/common.json --- e.g. by bind mount into the container.
