You can clone project with docker and working to local with project

If you set environment variable GIT_MIRROR

GIT_MIRROR=true

Docker clone all project with GIT_MIRROR_REPOS Example:

docker run -d --name git-mirror -p 8174:8174 -e GIT_MIRROR=true GIT_MIRROR_REPOS="http://localhost/gitrepo1.git http://localhost/gitrepo2.git" jbsukraine/git-mirror

If you add the volume for /var/git and restart the dockers container, the container will not clone the project again
