Pull the image using

podman pull docker.io/jdamp/marker:latest

Assuming you have a local folder called pdf containing a pdf file named r240123b.pdf, you can run the pdf to markdown conversion as follows:

podman run -v ./pdf:/pdf marker:latest poetry run python convert_single.py /pdf/r240123b.pdf /pdf/r240123b.md --max_pages 5
