Docker Automated build Docker Build Status

rust-dev-docker

A docker image to be used with Vagrant for Rust applications development.

Properties

Usage with Vagrant

Create a container built from the image:

d.image = "jean553/rust-dev-docker"

Set APP_PATH from the Vagrantfile. This variable is the project path into the container.

You can then start your container with Vagrant.

Note that using external crates into your project may increase the loading time needed for the Rust Language Features to be fully operational into neovim.

More features

Use kcov coverage

kcov requires some security options when running docker run. The expected security option is --security-opt seccomp=unconfined. (check issue here: https://github.com/SimonKagstrom/kcov/issues/151)

d.create_args = ["--security-opt=seccomp=unconfined"]

Generate the coverage:

cargo test --no-run
kcov --verify target/cov target/debug/{library-compiled-binary-file}

The generated coverage can be found in target/cov/index.html.
