⁠Jefferson Lab Common Environment

The Jefferson Lab Common Environment (CE) is a system for building and managing software packages used by the Experimental Nuclear Physics program at JLab. These include packages maintained external to JLab like ROOT, XERCES, CLHEP, ... It also includes some written and maintained internally at JLab like GEMC, CCDB, EVIO, and JANA.

This image does not include any specific simulation or analysis programs like those used by CLAS12 or JLEIC. Instead, it provides the packages those programs require as prerequisites. Thus, this image serves as a base layer that can be used to produce another image with a more specialized purpose.
