jgivoni/rpi-gpio-server repository overview

Tiny socket server build in nodejs, using node-rpio (https://www.npmjs.com/package/rpio) to interface with the GPIO pins of your Raspberry Pi.

Requirements

Raspberry Pi with Docker installed

Launch the server

$ docker run -it --rm --privileged -p 7695:7695 jgivoni/rpi-gpio-server

Usage

Send commands on a socket using json like this

$ telnet <host> 7695
{"open": [7, 1]}
{"write": [7, 1]}
{"open": [12, 0]}
{"read": [12]}

on port 7695 to control the Raspberry.

The first part of the command is the method of the rpio object and the rest are the parameters passed to the method.
