Build for latex-julia-docker, an image with TeXLive + Julia, among other things.
741
This container helps with compilation of latex sources without the need to install all latex packages on your system.
This repository is forked from blang's repository in order to add other packages needed for a CI setup.
First, add your local user to docker group:
sudo usermod -aG docker YOURUSERNAME
build:
docker build -t jgoldfar/latex-julia-docker .
docker run --rm -i --user="$(id -u):$(id -g)" --net=none -v "$(pwd)":/data jgoldfar/latex-julia-docker
# Or better in one go (does not start container twice)
docker run --rm -i --user="$(id -u):$(id -g)" --net=none -v "$(pwd)":/data jgoldfar/latex-docker /bin/sh -c "pdflatex example.tex && pdflatex example.tex"
# View
./example.pdf
WORKDIRs match, mounted to /data inside container.
Why should I use this container?
texlive-full covers most of the available packageschktex and pgf packages are explicitly installed to ensure they are always available.release includes Julia v0.6 and v0.7
nightly includes Julia 0.7 and Julia 1.0 (useful for porting packages)
dev includes a version of Julia built from source
and-maxima layers Julia 0.7 over maxima-docker, that is, Maxima built against SBCL.
