⁠docker run

⁠21c

docker run -d -p 1521:1521 -e ORACLE_PASSWORD=<your password> jinkyoungheo/oracle-xe:21c

• ex) docker run -d -p 1521:1521 -e ORACLE_PASSWORD=oracle jinkyoungheo/oracle-xe:21c

⁠11g

docker run -d -p 1521:1521 jinkyoungheo/oracle-xe:11g

⁠reset password

docker exec <container name|id> password <your password>

⁠connect to db console

docker exec -it <container name|id> bash
sqlplus
sys /as sysdba
oracle <-- sys password

⁠hr schema install

• You don't have to run the commands below. HR schema has already been added, and tables have been created for practice.
• Please refer to the commands below.

@/opt/oracle/db-sample-schemas-23.2/human_resources/hr_install.sql

• An hr schema containing the employees table and the departments table is installed.
• The hr account password is set to hr. (id: hr, password: hr)

⁠Oracle XE on Apple Silicon(Apple M chips)

• Mac OS must install and run colima after installing docker on the terminal.

brew install colima
brew install docker
colima start --arch x86_64 --memory 4
docker context use colima
docker run -d -p 1521:1521 jinkyoungheo/oracle-xe:11g
