Introduction

This is the official Jitterbit private agent Docker image.

Note: As this image is Ubuntu-based, Windows Jitterbit connectors are not supported.

License

See https://www.jitterbit.com/terms-and-conditions/ for terms and conditions on the use of this image.

Prerequisites

To use this image, you must have a Harmony organization name, and the account username and password. You can request a free trial at https://www.jitterbit.com/harmony/trial/.

Quick start

To run a Docker private agent, follow these psteps:

  1. Select Management Console > Agents from the Harmony Portal menu, then add a private agent to a group, or note the name of an existing one.

  2. In a terminal, use this command to run the agent using environment variables. Set your own values for HARMONY_USERNAME and HARMONY_PASSWORD, and use the agent name and agent group name from the previous step:

    docker run --name jitterbit-agent \
    -e HARMONY_ORIGIN=https://na-east.jitterbit.com \
    -e HARMONY_AGENT_NAME="Example Agent A" \
    -e HARMONY_AGENT_GROUP_NAME="Agent Group A_Example Env A" \
    -e HARMONY_ORG_NAME="Example Company" \
    -e [email protected] \
    -e HARMONY_PASSWORD=MyP4$$w0rd \
    -v "$(pwd)/conf:/conf" \
    -v "$(pwd)/connectors:/connectors" \
    -v "$(pwd)/data-interchange:/data-interchange" \
    jitterbit/agent

  3. You can check the status of your agent in Harmony on the Management Console > Agents page.

  4. To stop the agent, use Docker Desktop, the docker container stop command, or press Control+C in the terminal.
