⁠Docker container for File Centipede

This project provides a lightweight and secure Docker container for File Centipede⁠.

Access the application's full graphical interface directly from any modern web browser - no downloads, installs, or setup required on the client side - or connect with any VNC client.

The web interface also offers audio playback, seamless clipboard sharing, an integrated file manager and terminal for accessing the container's files and shell, desktop notifications, and more.

File centipede is an All-In-One internet file upload/download manager, BitTorrent Client, WebDAV client, FTP client, and SSH client. It is designed to be fast, customizable, and user-friendly. It supports multi-protocols and contains many useful auxiliary tools such as HTTP requester, file merge, and encoders. With the browser integration, you can download audio and videos from websites, even encrypted videos.

⁠Quick Start

NOTE: The Docker command provided in this quick start is an example, and parameters should be adjusted to suit your needs.

Launch the File Centipede docker container with the following command:

docker run -d \
    --name=file-centipede \
    -p 5800:5800 \
    -p 10111:10111 \
    -v /docker/appdata/file-centipede:/config:rw \
    -v /home/user:/storage:ro \
    -v /home/user/Downloads:/output:rw \
    jlesage/file-centipede

Where:

• /docker/appdata/file-centipede: Stores the application's configuration, state, logs, and any files requiring persistency.
• /home/user: Contains files from the host that need to be accessible to the application.
• /home/user/Downloads: This is where downloaded files are stored.

Access the File Centipede GUI by browsing to http://your-host-ip:5800. Files from the host appear under the /storage folder in the container.
