an Ubuntu image with binaries of the basic build tools and commandline tools and eBay tsv-utils and xsv and jq preinstalled. the "latest" version is minimalist, without man pages (which can after all be reached in your Web browser on the Windows or Mac side of your machine) and so on. the "expanded" version is a little bit bigger, but includes man pages and will include other such conveniences as time goes on.
