⁠STAN example

This is a very basic R analysis using RStan.

It fits a model, $y = a_1e^{-b_1x} + a_2e^{-b_2x}$ to simulated data.

⁠Running with Docker

You can run the analysis by building the Docker image and running it using the following commands:

docker pull jspitzen/rstan
docker run jspitzen/rstan

This will generate a dataset of 10.000 elements and run the stan model with 4 chains of 10.000 iterations. If you want to tweak these settings, you can override the run command. To generate a dataset of 4.000 elements and run 2 chains of 5.000 iterations, run the container with the following command:

docker run jspitzen/rstan Rscript stan.R 4000 5000 4
