LuaDox is an API documentation generator for Lua inspired by (though not fully compatible with) LDoc.

LuaDox implements most of what you get from LDoc (or LuaDoc) but also includes these unique features:

• Client-side search facility
• Support for class inheritance with hierarchy graph and class-aware reference resolution
• Support for markdown tables
• Fairly nice looking out-of-the-box
