⁠Plexis: Plex Collection Creator and Movie Recommender

Plexis is a fun project I developed over the course of a month to learn and experiment with various technologies. While I'm not claiming to be an expert, I thoroughly enjoyed the process and am proud of what I've created.

This tool is designed to enhance your Plex media server experience by automating the creation of themed movie collections and providing intelligent movie recommendations.

This project was born out of curiosity and a desire to learn. As a novice developer, I took on this challenge to understand how different technologies work together. It's been an exciting journey of discovery, problem-solving, and creativity.

I'm committed to improving Plexis based on user feedback. Your suggestions and comments are not just welcome – they're essential for the growth of this project. I'll be updating the app regularly, so stay tuned for new features and improvements!

⁠Features:

• Create custom movie collections based on themes or genres
• Get personalized movie recommendations
• Seamlessly integrate with your Plex server and Radarr
• Multi-language support (i tried)
• Integration of Ollama or GroqCloud

⁠Environment Variables:

• PLEX_URL: URL of your Plex server (e.g., http://192.168.1.100:32400⁠)
• PLEX_TOKEN: Your Plex authentication token (need help ?⁠)
• RADARR_URL: URL of your Radarr instance (e.g., http://192.168.1.100:7878⁠)
• RADARR_API_KEY: Your Radarr API key
• MODEL_SERVER: GROQ or OLLAMA
• GROQ_API_KEY: Your Groq API key
• OLLAMA_URL: URL of your Ollama (e.g., http://192.168.1.100:11434⁠)
• TZ: Your timezone (e.g., Europe/Paris)

⁠Usage:

docker run -d \
  -e PLEX_URL=http://your-plex-url:32400 \
  -e PLEX_TOKEN=your-plex-token \
  -e RADARR_URL=http://your-radarr-url:7878 \
  -e RADARR_API_KEY=your-radarr-api-key \
  -e GROQ_API_KEY=your-groq-api-key \
  -e TZ=Your/Timezone \
  -p 9999:9999 \
  julesmellot/plexis:latest

Visit http://localhost:9999⁠ in your browser to start creating awesome movie collections! Don't forget to set your settings !!! It could not work if you do not.
