K8ssandra⁠ is a collection of cloud-native projects for running Apache Cassandra on Kubernetes. It provides Apache Cassandra, anti-entropy repair services, observability hooks, and backup / restore functionality via declarative Kubernete API objects.

K8ssandra Operator provides a Kubernetes interface for deploying Apache Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise across multiple Kubernetes clusters. It manages the lifecycle and reconciliation of local and remote custom resources representing instances of clusters and operational tasks.

⁠Running

K8ssandra Operator requires Kubernetes API services to run and is not intended to run standalone. To run K8ssandra Operator in your Kubernetes cluster check out our Helm or Kustomize docs.
