⁠Simple Web Server for Tinfoil

A lightweight web server for use with Tinfoil on the Nintendo Switch.

⁠🛠 Instructions

• Bind your Switch NSP/XCI folder to /games

• Your games need to have the TitleID in the name and everything in a single folder

• The container uses port 80, which can be mapped to any host port

• Default credentials:
  User: Switch
  Password: 1234
  You can change these in /TinfoilWebServer.config.json inside the container

• You can then add it in Tinfoil as an HTTP server using:

  • Your local IP
  • Your public IP
  • A reverse proxy

  Use the chosen credentials when adding the server.

⁠📄 Example docker-compose.yml

version: "3"

services:
  tinfoil-web-server:
    image: kaida27/tinfoil-web-server
    container_name: tinfoil-web-server
    restart: always
    ports:
      - "8888:80"
    volumes:
      - /Path/to/Switch/Games/:/games

In the above Example I use port 8888 on my host, so that's what I would add in Tinfoil
