LG Smart Thinq client populating device events to MQTT server
3.9K
This is a reverse-engineered client for the LG ThinQ v2 IoT protocol.
If you are working with v1 devices, try wideq, which inspired this project.
Initial run:
mkdir -p state
docker run -ti -e COUNTRY_CODE=US -e LANGUAGE_CODE=en-US -v ./state/:/thinq2-python/state/ kamikac/thinq2-mqtt:1.2
App should show URL in terminal - paste it in your browser and log in with the same credentials as in LG Thinq App. After successful login copy URL from the browser and paste it in terminal. You should see your LG devices listed. You can stop container w Ctrl-C
After initial configuration start docker in daemon mode:
docker run -d --name thinq2_mqtt -e COUNTRY_CODE=US -e LANGUAGE_CODE=en-US -v ./state/:/thinq2-python/state/ thinq2-mqtt:1.0
