kapua/kura-simulator repository overview

Use the following environment variables to change the behavior of this application:

KSIM_BASE_NAME : The base name of the simulator instance, will get the instance number appended. Defaults to sim-. KSIM_NUM_GATEWAYS : The number of instances to run in a single instance. Defaults to 1. KSIM_ACCOUNT_NAME : The name of the account used in Eclipse Kapua™. Defaults to kapua-sys. KSIM_BROKER_URL : The full broker URL.

If the KSIM_BROKER_URL is omitted, then the following environment variables will be used in order to construct a broker URL:

KSIM_BROKER_USER : The user used to authenticate with the broker. Defaults to kapua-broker. KSIM_BROKER_PASSWORD : The password used to authenticate with the broker. Defaults to kapua-password. KSIM_BROKER_PROTO : The socket type used to connect to the broker (tcp or ssl). Defaults to tcp. KSIM_BROKER_HOST : The hostname (or IP address) of the broker. Defaults to localhost. KSIM_BROKER_PORT : The port number of the broker. Defaults to 1883.

If neither the broker URL is provided nor any other broker information, then the effective default will be tcp://kapua-broker:kapua-password@localhost:1833.
