⁠📝 Pages CMS (Next.js + SQLite + GitHub App)

A containerized CMS built with Next.js and SQLite, designed for GitHub App integration and lightweight self-hosting.

⁠🚀 Quick Start

docker run -d \
  --name pages-cms \
  --env-file .env \
  -v /data/pagescms/db:/data \
  -p 3000:3000 \
  keyz078/pagecms:latest

⁠⚙️ Environment Variables

Prepare a .env file with the following template:

GITHUB_APP_PRIVATE_KEY=
GITHUB_APP_WEBHOOK_SECRET=
GITHUB_APP_CLIENT_ID=

SQLITE_URL=file:/data/local.db
BASE_URL=https://your.domain.com
NEXT_PUBLIC_BASE_URL=https://your.domain.com

⚠️ Important:

  • GITHUB_APP_PRIVATE_KEY must be in one-line PEM format (no line breaks).
    Convert it by removing line breaks or replacing them with \n.
  • SQLITE_URL should point to /data/local.db to persist the database with volume mount.

⁠💾 Data Persistence

SQLite database is stored at /data/local.db.

Mount a local directory to persist database data across restarts:

-v /your/local/folder:/data

⁠🧱 Architecture

  • ✅ Multi-arch support: linux/amd64 and linux/arm64
  • 📁 File-based SQLite storage
  • 🔐 Runtime-only .env injection — secrets are not baked into the image
