Using the image.

The image requires that the host is running Linux amd64.

If the image is used locally be sure to run the image on a Linux host, or on a virtual machine running Linux (in windows DockerCE be sure to use Linux containers. This starts a small VM for running Linux containers).

The internal ports for the image are port 80 and 433. If these ports are not available on host, use the docker port mapping feature.

Example docker run -p 3002:80 -d kgtrue/articles:tag

The image uses mssql database and needs the following environment variables to connect to a database.

SqlServerName: the host name or IP-address for the database server.

SqlServerCatalog: the database catalog.

SqlServerUser: username to login to database server.

SqlServerPassword: the password to login to database server.

SqlServerPort: the port used by the database server.

docker run -e 'SqlServerName=dbhostname' -e 'SqlServerCatalog=Articles' -e 'SqlServerUser=User' -e 'SqlServerPort=1433' -e 'SqlServerPassword=Pass' -p 3002:80 -d kgtrue/articles:tag

The image Is build using CI-CD. Images are released to this repository.

Production images.

Images end in the version number of the image or the tag latest for the latest new stable version.

Development images.

Images marked with the tag ’dev’ in the image name are recent unverified images build from the latest development branch. These images should never be used in any production environment.
