⁠Learning docker through Ark

I created this image to mess around with docker, there are many better images available, I do not intend to support this image.

⁠Changelog:

• 12-02-2023: Added ENV param BATTLEYE which can be set to 'BattlEye' or 'NoBattlEye'

⁠port mappings

This image requires the following port mappings and (sadly) does not run yet through net=host

7777/udp 7778/udp 27015/udp 27020/tcp

⁠bind mount a volume

This image requires a bind mounted volume on the host. If you run this image without bind mount you will not persist any data and the container will become enormous due to the size of the Ark server files

Bind mount to the following volume inside container: /home/steam/ark/

After creation of volume on host and first run of the container the server files should be present. At this point you can edit the config files and copy-in your own files to the savedarks folder. Make sure you provide access to UID 1000 (I just set access to everyone but I am very new to linux)
