kohoward/ansible repository overview

Ansible is a docker image build on alpine.

Included pacakages: aws cli, docker cli, git, boto and boto3 clients.

Example of docker-compose file

services:
  ansible:
    image: kohoward/ansible
    container_name: ansible
    hostname: ansible
    volumes:
      - "./ansible:/home"
      - "/var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock"

The above assumes that the working directory has a folder ansible which will contain the inventories, vars, roles etc...

To go into the container, simple execute

docker-compose run ansible ash
