This image is tagged with the version of PowerShell. latest is always the most recent version of PowerShell that has been pushed to this repository (this includes any preview releases).

⁠How to use

You can execute powershell commands inside the container using docker run -it kosdk/powershellcore pwsh. This container also has the Bash shell which can be used via docker run -it kosdk/powershellcore /bin/bash. In the Bash shell you can access powershell via the pwsh command.
