A docker with c++ and googletest framework:

  1. Ubuntu 21.04
  2. g++ 10.3.0
  3. gdb 10.1.90
  4. cmake 3.18.4
  5. googletest 1.10.0: https://github.com/google/googletest⁠
  6. a googletest template project at ~/gtest_template folder

⁠Usage:

docker pull learnwithexamples/googletest

docker run --name gtest -it learnwithexamples/googletest

⁠Compile & run the template project:

cd gtest_template

cmake ..

make

./mytest

⁠You should see the following prints:
    Running main() from /root/googletest/googletest/src/gtest_main.cc
    [==========] Running 51 tests from 14 test suites.
    [----------] Global test environment set-up.
    [----------] 3 tests from FactorialTest
    ...
    [----------] Global test environment tear-down
    [==========] 51 tests from 14 test suites ran. (4 ms total)
    [  PASSED  ] 50 tests.
    [  FAILED  ] 1 test, listed below:
    [  FAILED  ] TESTSUITE1.testcase1
    1 FAILED TEST
