lenddo/redis-docker repository overview

This setup is somewhat opinionated in that the config must exist at /redis-config/redis.conf. The reason for that is that the config is likely imported as a configmap file which is read-only. Redis when run as a sentinel expects that it has write access to the config file. Under Kubernetes v1.9, volumes mounted from ConfigMaps are no longer writeable. This container extends the official repository by running a simple shim which will take the source config file, /redis-config/redis.conf and copying it to a directory where the container can rewrite the config file.

Arguments will be passed through to the the command and other commands within the container still work, it's still valid to run redis-cli for example.
