lewinc/interlok-base repository overview

Basic Docker image of interlok using a nightly build

Don't pull from the image, instead think of this as a reference example of how to build your own image. If you pull from this image, and overlay your own jars using your own build.grade, all you're doing is just creating unnecessary layers which is hugely inefficient.

  • Installed to /opt/interlok
  • Various distribution platforms are defined in the corresponding sub directories.

Notes

  • It uses Docker to actually build the distribution; it would be far more efficient for you to use a gradle plugin that builds docker images (e.g. this one) since you're unlikely to actually do it like this in real life.
  • This image does not expose any ports or volumes; so you will need to expose those yourself when building your own docker image if that's your bag.
  • chainguard did work but won't anymore (2023-08-16) if you aren't subscribed to them; thus it is not published.

Eventually I might build something into interlok-build-parent that you could use.
