⁠lexauw/ansible-core

ansible-core⁠ — the engine, CLI tools and the ansible.builtin collection, without the community collections — and ansible-lint⁠ on Alpine, with python3, git, openssh and sshpass. Collections a project needs are installed with ansible-galaxy. ansible-core plus the community collections — lexauw/ansible⁠.

⁠Tags

<version> is the version of the ansible-core package on PyPI (2.21.5).

⁠Usage

Runs as the non-root user ansible (uid/gid 1000, home /home/ansible); the default command is ansible --version. localhost is in the default inventory with a local connection.

docker run --rm -v "$PWD:/work" -w /work lexauw/ansible-core:<version> ansible-playbook -i inventory site.yml

Platforms: linux/amd64, linux/arm64. Every published digest is listed in the releases⁠ of the source repository — use it to pin or roll back a floating tag.
