⁠Instructions

⁠1. Create the container

docker run -p 8787:8787 -v PATH/ON/LOCAL:PATH/ON/DOCKER:z --name NAME -it lychengr3x/pyenv:TAG

• -p: port
• -v: shared folder
  • :z: share to all containers
• --name: name of the container

⁠2. Start the container

docker start NAME_OF_CONTAINER

⁠3. Get into the container

docker exec -it NAME_OF_CONTAINER bash

⁠4. Run Jupyter inside container

jupyter-notebook --allow-root --no-browser --ip="*" --port=8787

• --port: if use default port 8888, it might have the same port as at host such that you cannot get access to the jupyter notebook in the container.
