macornami/heir repository overview

The image provides a Ubuntu 24.0 OS setup with compiler tools required for building HEIR compiler with the HEIR source code on your local system.

⁠Usage

1. Get HEIR sources; if you don't have the heir project

   $ git clone [email protected]:google/heir.git heir
   

   Copy

2. Fetch the docker image and run it.

   $ docker pull macornami/heir:jan26
   

   Copy

3. Run the container with the repo root bind mounted into the container workspace

   $ PROJECT_ROOT=/path/to/heir
   $ docker run --user heiruser --platform linux/amd64 -v  "${PROJECT_ROOT}:/home/heiruser/heir" -it "macornami/heir:jan26"
   

   Copy
