This repository hosts an image based on kartoza/geoserver⁠ with the following plugins installed:

• wps-plugin
• css-plugin
• gdal-plugin
• imagemosiac-jdbc-plugin
• pyramid-plugin
• csw-plugin
• monitor-plugin
• control-flow-plugin
• importer-plugin

⁠Getting Started

A Docker volume is used to persist data on the host machine at /srv/data/geoserver_data.

To set Tomcat properties such as maximum heap memory size, create a setenv.sh file such as:

JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -server -Djava.awt.headless=true -Xmx4000m -Xms1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024M -XX:PermSize=256m -XX:SoftRefLRUPolicyMSPerMB=36000"
JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -XX:+UseParNewGC -Duser.timezone=GMT -Dorg.geotools.coverage.jaiext.enabled=true"

Then pass the setenv.sh file as a volume at /usr/local/tomcat/bin/setenv.sh when running:

docker run --name "geoserver-app" --restart always -v /srv/data/geoserver_config/setenv.sh:/usr/local/tomcat/bin/setenv.sh -v /srv/data/geoserver_data:/opt/geoserver/data_dir -p 10001:8080 -d malariaatlas/geoserver:2.12.2
