PowerShell Universal running in IIS on Windows Server Core 2019
664
PowerShell Universal is deployed, and hosted in IIS on port 80. You can configure as normal with TLS on 443 after you get it up and running.
Proper hosting bundle, and configuration already in place per https://docs.powershelluniversal.com/config/hosting/hosting-iis
Website name: Production Application pool: PSU_Prod
Application pool runs as a local administrator. You'll want to change this password. Running as a user instead of SYSTEM allows you to "run as" in the "Automation" portion of PS Universal. If you join to a domain, you'll probably want to change the service account that you use, and disable/delete the itsmAdmin user account. Nothing else depends on this user account.
Username: itsmAdmin Password: Myp@ssw0rd
User has logon as batch rights.
Package provider (NuGet) is already updated for pulling from the Gallery RSAT AD management tools installed (ActiveDirectory module)
Site root: C:\Universal If you want to use you own custom files, You need to mount a volume to this directory. Be sure to unblock/remove streams from the files before mounting. Or just overwrite the appsettings.json and web.config files in the C:\Universal directory.
PS Remoting has been enabled, and TCP 5985/5986 are exposed
If you're planning to join a domain, I suggest that you attach the container to a transparent network. docker network create -d transparent workLan
