:al has a user maria created to run mariadb, and /etc/my.cnf has been updated accordingly. mariadb-install-db has not been run. A script file ~/entrypoint.sh runs mariadb-install-db and mariadbd.

:bd is similar to :al, but mariadb-install-db has been run at build time. ~/entrypoint is not included.
